I am a first-generation bilingual multimedia journalist with a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communication. Graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Phoenix, Arizona. During my graduate experience, I spent a semester in Washington D.C. covering stories on Capitol Hill and Borderlands.
Also, graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism - Broadcast and Chicana/o Studies with a minor in Spanish Language Journalism at California State University Northridge.
The 62nd Southern California Journalism Award for the Los Angeles Press Club awarded me first place for Best Personality Profile, “Jose Andres Miramontes."
